This comfortable sports binder short in ‘jeansblue’, made from sturdy 4-way stretch Jersey, is designed for daily use and safe binding. The binder features a racerback, allowing free movement of the shoulder blades. This binder is very suitable for sports due to the small amount of stretch in the front panel. The front panel runs more diagonally from shoulder to armpit, allowing you to wear a tank top or sleeveless shirt without the binder being visible.
This binder is suitable for individuals with both soft and firm chest tissue in small cup sizes. For firm chest tissue (in any cup size), we recommend our binder tank tops and short binders. These are all ‘extra strong.’
The front panel is made from a double layer of 4-way stretch Jersey. For reinforcement, there is a thin layer of flexible woven polyester that stretches slightly. The back panel consists of a single layer of cotton stretch, also reinforced with thin flexible woven polyester.
You wear soft cotton against your skin with hardly any polyester! The edges of the sports binder short in ‘jeansblue’ are trimmed with stretch bands, ensuring it almost always fits perfectly.
- Material of the sports binder short in ‘jeansblue’: 80% cotton, 15% polyester, 5% elastane
- Material reinforcement: 92% polyester, 8% elastane
- Washing instructions: Wash at 40°C, suitable for the dryer
What is the difference between the sports binder short in ‘jeansblue’ and a regular binder?
Sports binder:
- Sports binders are usually more flexible and designed to compress the chest without covering the entire upper body. They offer freedom of movement and flexibility, essential during physical activities such as sports and workouts.
- Sports binders are often made from breathable, sweat-wicking materials that help regulate body temperature and prevent overheating. They are specifically designed for physical activities.
- Sports binders provide support without restricting movement. They are ideal for intensive sports and workouts where breathability and flexibility are important.
- Due to the breathable material, sports binders offer extra comfort during intensive physical activities. They prevent sweat buildup and allow the skin to breathe.
Regular binder:
- Regular binders are made from sturdier, often less breathable materials that provide maximum compression.
- Regular binders are designed for daily use under normal clothing. They offer consistent compression throughout the day and are suitable for everyday activities.
- Although regular binders are also comfortable, they can be warmer and less breathable compared to sports binders. However, they are ideal for long-term wear and provide extra support and stability.
Summary:
- Sports binders are made from slightly more flexible and breathable materials and are designed for physical activities, offering extra freedom of movement and comfort during sports.
- Regular binders offer full coverage and compression and are all ‘extra strong.’ They are suitable for daily use under normal clothing and provide consistent support and stability throughout the day.
Maintenance and durability
To extend the life of your binder, it is important to maintain it properly. Here are some tips:
- Washing: Wash the sports binder short in ‘jeansblue’ at 40 degrees Celsius. Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softeners, as these can reduce the elasticity of the fabric.
- Drying: The binder is suitable for the dryer, but to extend its life, it is recommended to air dry it. Hang it on a drying rack or lay it flat to dry.
- Storage: Store the binder in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. This helps maintain the color and quality of the fabric.
Safe binding
Safe binding is essential to prevent health problems. Although this sports binder short in ‘jeansblue’ is designed to be safe and comfortable, it is important to follow some guidelines, as issues can arise immediately or later.
- Limit wear time: Do not wear the binder for more than 8 hours a day and avoid sleeping in it. This gives your skin and muscles a chance to rest
- Listen to your body: If you experience pain, discomfort, or breathing problems, remove the binder immediately. Contact a doctor if the problems persist.
- Hydrate your skin: Ensure your skin is clean and hydrated to prevent irritation. Regular washing of the binder also helps prevent skin issues.
