This binder is ideal to wear after mastectomy (breast removal surgery). Through compression, the binder ensures that the skin stays tight to the breast tissue so that no moisture gets between it and it can adhere properly. Because of the front closure with Velcro, the binder is easy to open and close. Because there are 3 vertical strips of Velcro stitched on, the binder will always be able to close at the correct compression.

So you wear a soft cotton fabric on your skin and hardly any polyester! The edges of the binder are trimmed with stretch tape so it almost always fits perfectly. The binder consists of 80% cotton, allowing the skin to breathe well. The binder contains 5% elastane, even at chest level so it always stretches slightly.
