Stickers ‘bisexual’

This pack is filled with 10 stickers in the colors of the bisexual flag. You can use these stickers to subtly express your own sexuality or to support the bisexual community. You can also stick them on simply because you like the colors. :)

The colors of the bisexuality flag are as follows:

• Pink (top stripe): Represents attraction to the same gender (homosexual attraction).
• Purple (middle stripe): Symbolizes the mix of homosexual and heterosexual attraction, representing bisexual identity.
• Blue (bottom stripe): Represents attraction to the opposite gender (heterosexual attraction).
  These colors are globally recognized as a symbol of the bisexual community.

The bisexual flag was created to give the bisexual community more visibility and its own symbol, similar to how the rainbow flag represents the broader LGBTQIA+ community.

In 1998, Michael Page designed the bisexuality flag because he felt that bisexuals were often invisible within the LGBTQIA+ community and experienced “bi-erasure” (the denial or erasure of bisexuality). Many bisexuals were often perceived as either heterosexual or homosexual depending on their current partner, which diminished or ignored their bisexual identity.

The flag became a way to:

• Create visibility for bisexuals within and outside the LGBTQIA+ community.
• Express identity and have a proud symbol specifically representing bisexuality.
• Celebrate the diversity of sexual attraction, acknowledging that bisexuals can be attracted to more than one gender.
